Registration will open on Wednesday, October 1 at 8 am.

 

Classes will be held for the following days

Sunday January 18, 2026

Sunday January 25, 2026

Sunday February 1, 2026

Sunday February 8, 2026

We are happy to announce that we will once again offer Sunday morning swim lessons

Lessons offered for ages 4 and older.

Our Winter 2026 Lessons take place at Marist University

Conducted at McCann Center on the Marist Campus

CLASS TIMES

We are offering the following classes times for each level as follows:

RED Team  9 am, 10 am, 11 am

WHITE TEAM  9 am, 10 am, 11 am

BLUE TEAM  9 am, 10 am, 11 am

WATER IMMERSION 9 am, 10 am, 11 am

Our lessons are set up based on skill level as in the past with 4 levels;

Water Immersion, Red Team, White, and Blue Team.

SPACE IS LIMITED So we recommend to register early for best selection.

 

Description of Levels

Water Immersion: Pre-School for 4 year olds just being introduced to the water.

Red Team: 4-8 Year Old Beginning Swimming. To be held in the shallow end of the pool. This team teaches basic swimming techniques

White Team: Intermediate Swimming.  This team will introduce crawl stroke and backstroke techniques.

Blue Team: Advanced Swimming.  This team will teach the techniques of all four swimming strokes.

Introduction to competition swimming and racing strategy techniques

Note: All instructors will have a check list of all skills necessary for each participant to move on to the next level

The cost for the lessons is $160 for the 5 week lesson program.

2. Pick the Team. Team Descriptions shown above.

3. Pick Class Time.

4. Click "Register" You will be asked if you already have an account. If you do sign in using your email address and password. If you do not have an account, fill out your email address, password, and insurance carrier information. You will then have to add the student information.

5. Once you have entered the Students, name, gender, and Date of Birth click "Add Selected Student"

6.Click "Place in Shopping Cart"

7. Click "Pay by Credit Card"

8. Agree to all waivers.

9. Add your credit card information at the bottom of the page.

10. Click "Pay and Submit Registration"

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Learn to Swim encourages swimmers from the ages of 4 through 18 years.

 Space is limited for each session as well as for each instructor. Each instructor will be assigned 4-6 swimmers, based upon the ability level of the group.

 Dates are subject to change based upon Marist College availability.

 All Parents and other spectators must view the lesson program from the mezzanine (Upstairs)

LOCATION AND FACILITIES

All lessons will take place at the James J. McCann Center Natatorium at Marist College. The natatorium is the home of the Marist College men's and women's swimming and diving teams, as well as the Red Fox Aquatic Club. The 40-yard facility is split into a 25-yard competitive course and diving well.

LOCKER ROOM POLICY

Children over the age of 5 years old must use the gender appropriate locker room
